Chinese ambassador met with Governor of Central Bank of Somalia

On 13th December 2016, Chinese Ambassador to Somalia H. E. Mr. Wei Hongtian met with Mr. Bashir Issa Ali, Governor of Central Bank of Somalia. Mr. Bashir briefed Ambassador Wei on the recovery of the economy and the current financial circumstances of Somalia. The two sides exchanged views on the further promotion of the relationship between the two countries, especially in the field of financial cooperation, and China’s participation in the reconstruction process of Somalia.
