Somalia, located in the Horn of Africa and endowed with the longest coastline on  geographical position as well as abundant natural resources. For recent years, Somalia has made remarkable progresses in national reconstruction and development.

China and Somalia, though far from each other geographically, enjoy a profound traditional friendship. In December 1960, the two countries established diplomatic relations. In October 2014, the Chinese Embassy in Somalia was reopened. For years since then, the relationship between our two countries has been advancing steadily. Committed to building this website into a window to showcase China-Somalia relations and friendship, I look forward to your valuable suggestions about our work.
