On July 12th, 2026, the Chinese Embassy in Somalia held a seminar themed “Explore the development of China, Understand the Communist Party of China (CPC)”. Chinese Ambassador to Somalia H.E. Wang Yu addressed the seminar, together with members of the Somali Federal Parliament who have recently attended workshops in China.

Ambassador Wang briefed the main content of the speech made by Xi Jinping, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee at the assembly celebrating the 105th founding anniversary of the CPC and Xi Jinping Thought on Party Building, and shared views on the CPC's enduring success. He stressed that China is ready to share high-quality development opportunities with Somalia, join hands with Somalia to advance modernization and work together to build a community with a shared future for humanity.

The Somali participants highly commended the great achievements that the Chinese people have accomplished under the leadership of the CPC, and expressed willingness to strengthen experience sharing on governance to enhance cooperation in various fields between the two countries, so as to contribute to the further development of Somalia-China friendship.
